Sports Design
My sports design work focuses on creating bold, energetic graphics that capture the excitement and personality of collegiate athletics. I enjoy experimenting with photo manipulation, typography, texture, and visual effects to create promotional designs that grab attention and connect with student audiences. From rivalry games to major matchups, each project challenges me to create designs that not only promote an event but also build excitement and school spirit.
Utah Tech vs. SUU
For this rivalry game graphic, I wanted to capture the energy and personality surrounding Utah Tech’s matchup against SUU. I incorporated the student section’s favorite phrase, “Birds Aren’t Real,” to create a playful connection with the Utah Tech community and build excitement for the game. I also experimented with typography by layering and positioning the type behind the basketball player, creating depth and a more dynamic composition. This project allowed me to explore visual hierarchy, typography, layering, and promotional design while creating a graphic that felt unique to the rivalry.

Utah Tech vs. Central AR
For this football promotional graphic, I focused on creating a sense of power and impact around the matchup against Central Arkansas. I created a custom crack effect across the rock to emphasize the player’s powerful stomping pose and add a sense of movement to the composition. This project allowed me to explore photo manipulation, visual hierarchy, texture, and dynamic promotional design while creating an energetic graphic for a university audience.

Utah Tech vs. UTA
I designed this promotional graphic for Utah Tech University’s Student Association to build excitement and engagement around the basketball game against UT Arlington. Using Adobe Photoshop, I experimented with a glass-breaking effect to reveal the photograph underneath, while incorporating powder textures to add depth, energy, and movement. This project allowed me to explore creative photo manipulation, texture, visual hierarchy, and dynamic promotional design for a university audience.
